JASON DONNELLY

Jason Donnelly: is a seasoned entrepreneur with extensive experience in the medical devices industry. As the Founder and CEO of Pinpoint Medical, he excels in company start-ups, securing high-value contracts, and fostering successful collaborations with government and industry manufacturers. With a strong background in business development and operational management, Jason drives innovation and growth within the healthcare sector. His ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and build robust partnerships has been instrumental in the success of his ventures.

AFFAR KARIMULLAH

Affar Karimullah: Is CTO of Pinpoint Medical who previously held an UKRI EPSRC Innovation Fellowship award and was an academic at the University of Glasgow. Dr. Karimullah is a multidisciplinary researcher who has expertise in electronic engineering, nanotechnology, biomedical engineering, chemical photonics, optics and instrumentation. Dr. Karimullah has previously worked in the communications industry and undertakes multiple research projects with industry. His work on chiral plasmonic biosensors has resulted in multiple high quality publications and resulted in the disposable plasmonics biosensing platform incorporated in Pinpoint Medical’s iAQ system.

MALCOLM KELLY

Malcolm Kelly: 20 years of experience as in-house lawyer in the international engineering sector and a further 5 years as a consultant commercial lawyer in renewables/telecoms/public sector tendering. Developed and led compliance and business ethics initiatives and worked worldwide including UK, France, US, China, India and Middle East.

IAIN GORDON

Iain Gordon: Iain Gordon has more than 25 years experience in the pharmaceutical and medical research fields. His focus has largely been on clinical development and over this period he has been involved in literally 100s of development programs across every major therapeutic area. His previous roles include Vice President of a US Clinical Research Organisation and Executive roles in European-based global businesses. Most recently Iain spent 12 years as Director then Chairman of a multi-national clinical research company prior to its sale to one of the world's largest private equity firms.

MALGORZATA SZERSZENIEWSKA

Malgorzata Szerszeniewska: Dr Malgorzata Szerszeniewska is a Board Member of PinPoint and President of PhenoNet. She has extensive experience in managing  clinical operations for medical product development. Dr. Szerszeniewska  was the founder of EastHORN  followed by Head of Operations Europe at Novotech. Prior to that she was Director of Central and Eastern Europe at Covance. She  graduated from Warsaw Medical University having specialised in Intensive Care and Anaesthesiology.

SIU CHEN LAU

Siu Chuen LAU has over 35 years of experience in the electronic industry's R&D sector in various MNCs and product lines and more than 10 years of research in material science, mainly on IAQ and sensors. SC has the knowledge and experience to convert basic research into end products. He is the inventor of over 20 patents in the US and China and received his joint award MSc in Engineering Business Management from HK PolyU and U of Warwick in 2008.

DR VICTOR TABOULLIOT

Dr. Victor Taboulliot: is a senior scientist at Pinpoint Medical. He holds a PhD in plasmonics and metamaterials focused on biosensing from the University of Glasgow. Prior to that, he completed his master’s degree in nanoscale engineering at École centrale de Lyon, developing an expertise in nanotechnology and its medical applications. Driven by a passion for advancing healthcare technologies, Victor is dedicated to applying his skills in biosensing to improve the accuracy and efficiency of prostate cancer diagnosis.


HARIS NAVEED

Haris is a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Strathclyde and currently works at Pinpoint Medical. With around 10 years of experience in CAD and a CSWP certification in SolidWorks, he specialises in advanced 3D modelling and design. In addition to his experience in material research and prototyping, Haris is driven to solve real-world engineering challenges and continually expand his practical expertise to create meaningful solutions.

He received gold medals for his “Sensor Platform” at the 47th International Exhibition of Inventions, 2019 (Geneva); iCAN 2022 (Toronto, Canada). Prof. Vellaisamy also has laboratories at City University Hong Kong where PPM research is conducted
